About
Lick was founded on the idea of reconnecting us to community through a transparent experience in which we’re able to interact with the people making and designing our clothing.
As the founder and only employee of Lick, Miles Hagin designs, constructs, photographs and ships each garment. Every piece is constructed with care using the highest quality materials in order to create clothing that will accompany you through many seasons of life.
Our clothes are made to be lived in, repaired, passed on, and worn for many years.
Sustainability:
Lick uses organic fabrics certified to be free of chemicals as well as deadstock (excess) fabrics to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Our metal buttons are made of 100% brass - the most recyclable metal. Our coat buttons are made from Corozo - a seed that is sustainably harvested before being turned into buttons.
Returns:
As everything is made to order and fabrics are available in small quantities, we cannot offer returns unless the garment itself is defective. Returns will not be given due to ordering the wrong size - please refer to our sizing page for additional information.
Care:
Sewn garments should be machine washed cold and line dried to avoid shrinking. Press after dry.
Shipping:
All orders ship from Santa Barbara, CA.
Acknowledgements:
Lick would like to respectfully acknowledge that each garment is designed and made on Chumash land.
